I live in Italy, Milan, one of the most chaotic cities of this country.
I have always suffered constraints, accepting them as the inevitable
eventualities that remind us that the freedom we think to have is just an illusion.
This "forma mentis" has caused in me a strong antagonism to the time and its inexorable passing. Photography has the incredible power to freeze a moment and make it eternal, saving that instant of life from the oblivion to which the time condemns the past.
When we take a picture in fact, what we do is to capture infinitesimal parts of the only thing in nature is capable of stopping time, the light.
I consider photography as a refuge from the time and that's why I love it.
