Glen attended college at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, graduating in 1984. While there, one of his professors (who taught Old English) introduced him to photography as an art form; specifically, large-format photography. That professor had an 11x17in behemoth of a camera and took some astounding photos, and he introduced Glen to Ansel Adams. When Glen left school, the professor gave him a Speed Graphic 4x5 view camera. Large-format photography proved to be a rather expensive hobby, so Glen moved to the 35mm format.
He lived in Ascot, England, from 1996-2000 and was able to travel extensively throughout Europe and South Africa for work. During that time, he acquired a Contax G1 camera and joined the Contax G user group; from there, he started
The Contax G Pages as a way for other G1/G2 enthusiasts to share their work.
He's still nothing more than a passionate amateur, but loves black & white photography.
