I first got into photography whilst in the sixth form where my art teacher at the time (Robin Gray) started offering O'Level courses in it so I jumped at the chance.
I soon found out that it was my kind of thing and started processing my own black & whites and although I never passed the theory and history bit I loved the actual process of taking and developing photographs and won a few competitions at the time for my various projects.
As time went on the photography sort of get left behind due to other interests like, drama, music & computers and also the lack of my own dark room.
It was the advent of digital photography that got me back into it again and after messing about with some low budget cameras I decided to go for it and purchase a full frame digital camera.
I just love what you can do with post production software these days and have no problem with using these tools to recreate the feeling of an image or scene as I felt it at the time it was taken.
