John Haig has been using a camera since public school. That was a very, very long time ago.
At some point, someone offered him money to put to use whatever meager skills he had acquired with the camera. Since he had a considerable tab at both the camera store and the local bar, he figured fate had smiled upon him.
It has smiled several times since, with a number of his images being published in national and international magazines.
Only a complete lack of work ethic has prevented him from becoming an extremely famous photographer. He has never won a contest, because he has never entered one. He does buy the occasional lottery ticket, however.
Haig's hobbies include his work, zen fishing (an advanced form of catch and release where there is no actual fishing rod) and designing a robot to take his place at social functions. He also enjoys writing, especially in the third person.
