Humberto Santos (hfm) was born in Matosinhos on 20 May 1968. Since adolescence that is interested in photographic art, having acquired in the '80s his first SLR. Passing the fantastic experience of the darkroom during the 90s, has evolved technically and artistically as autodidact assumed. In 2003 acquires a compact digital even with reservations about digital photography. But assumed a more obsessive amateurism in 2007 with the first D-SLR. Despite being a self-taught, in 2008 attended a photography course in IPF, thus solidifying this knowledge. In recent years participated in dozens of exhibitions and won some contests where he participated.
