Big Sur Coast

I love traveling the Big Sur coast, I can spend hours in one spot photographing a bridge, a Seascape, capturing the moment in time and loving every minute of it. The shear height of the the mountains falling down into the ocean is aw inspiring alone. I am going to add more pictures thought out the year to this story to capture the different seasons and wildlife.
If these photos have a mission, it is this: capture rarely viewed natural scenes and environments and present them in an interesting way.

It may be a heart shaped rock or the dark interior of an soul once forgotten, just a place with a memory etch in my mind. Whatever the locale, whatever the space, on the best of days these images will stir up unexpected feelings and thoughts with in the viewer. Thanks for vewing my Photo's :)

Bixby Bridge Big Sur

The bridge is “one of the most photographed features on the West Coast” because of its location along the scenic Central Coast of California, and has frequently been used in automobile commercials. The bridge has become a regional landmark and was used in the opening sequences of the television series Then Came Bronson and the film Play Misty for Me. The bridge was also in a first season episode of NBC's show Heroes ("Company Man"), even though the show is placed in Texas. The bridge figures prominently in posters and other publicity material of the Big Sur International Marathon. An outline image of the bridge forms the logo for Central Coast ABC, the area's ABC Television Network affiliate on KSBW-TV (Channel 8.2).
