Nathan Lubian is a self-taught amateur photographer from Caloocan City. He is a natural artist who started showing his love for art through portrait painting back when he was thirteen. His curiosity in photography started three years ago, when he tried to take a shot from a colleague’s DSLR camera. Back then, there weren’t a lot of people who own a DSLR yet. He was amazed at how clear the picture was, and so he decided to buy a mid-range DSLR camera and explore photography on his own.
Right now, he specializes in travel, people, and creative photography. He does all these with the help of his three best friends – his Nikon D700, a 24-70 Nikkor lens, and the natural light. His works are focused on the Philippines and its culture, and that’s why his photos reflect what’s more to the Philippines than just being a country.
Photography is his passion, not his profession. He works full-time as a software developer in Makati City. He spends his free time conducting photography workshops all over the country; and of course, doing what he does best -- taking photographs.
