My name is Ivan Ramirez and I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area, although I am originally from Guadalajara, Mexico. Photography has always been a passion of mine. In the beginning, most of my subjects were inanimate- anything from skulls to landscapes. Recently, since 2008, I have also been taking pictures of people and this has been a rewarding experience. I find it amazing how a camera can capture the feelings and moods expressed by people. Regardless of subject type, my goal is to create profound images that will entice the viewer to stop and look twice. I am available to shoot all kinds of photography (Portraits, Glamour, Conceptual, Fashion, Nature and Artistic) and have excellent references that can be provided upon request. I do a lot of preparation for each of my shoots and am confident I can carry-out any requested assignment. Even though I shoot with film from time to time, most of my recent photography is digital.
