Hello. My name is Isai Zepeda. I am the founder of Blink Once Creative photography. I am a self-taught photographer. I learned all of my knowledge in the field by reaching every where in the internet for tips and new techniques. Youtube has been a great help along with the flickr community. But what made my work what it is now is the fruits of hard work and experience along with many trial and errors. Messing the camera everyday made me learn something new every time. I first started photography at the age of 15. It all started when i saw a friend of mine carrying his camera. I fell in love with his work and the way he composed every image. I thought to myself that perhaps i could do the same. I bought my camera as a present for myself in Christmas. My first camera was a Nikon D40x. The first month wasn't easy. I couldn't get a decent picture with a DSLR so i almost gave up on it. But towards the end of the month the day was foggy and brilliant for a photo so i went to the park and took what later became one of my signature photos. After realizing perhaps i had potential, i stuck to it and now I'm grateful that i didn't quit before. Of course, there is more to the story so just ask. I enjoy photographing special moments but I'm a person with more talents. I love to draw with chalk pastel, do paintings, and anything in the artistic field. I also find it very fun to sell things such as phones, computer and even cars. I've come to the conclusion that my brain leans more to the creative side. I love science, specially Theoretical quantum physics. I could talk hours about the subject. I hope you all enjoy my work enough that you would recommend it to others and share the page with people you know. Blink Once Creative Photography (BOCP) is a company which have served the Gainesville community for many occasions. It has done work for various schools students for senior portraits. Also responsible for the 2011 East Hall High School Yearbook Senior Section and the creator of the front image found on the program for the East Hall High School Wind Symphony: Janfest. We have also worked with local companies such as Sports and Imports, Elite Dental Studios, The Turbo Truck Center, Syfan Logistics,HID Construction, Chiropractic clinic of Lawrenceville along with out-of-state companies such as Just Natural Skin Care found in West Palm Beach, FL, photographing their products for commercial use. We have also had the privilege to photograph the governor for his presence in the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Syfan Logistics. Awards: -3rd place in An Artistic Discovery: The congressional Art Competition -1st Place in "Design a Barricade Contest" at the Lakeshore Mall -State winner of "Story Teller Scholarship: A story through images" for the Art institute of Decatur, GA -State winner of Art institute of Decatur's portfolio competition. -ranked #145th best photographer of the day in Flickr's Top 500 worldwide (Also ranked 13 more times in Flickr's Explore Page)
