Brandon Iwamoto is a freelance photographer based in Aurora, Colo.
Brandon graduated from Colorado State University in 2010 with a degree in Journalism and Technical Communications. He was a staff photographer at the Farmington Daily Times in 2011. In addition, he worked for three years at the Rocky Mountain Collegian, including time spent as the Visual Editor. His work has appeared in The Denver Post, Colorado Springs Gazette, Loveland Reporter Herald, Greeley Tribune as well as billboards, merchandise and promotional material for the Colorado Eagles Pro Hockey Organization.
He has held internships with the Loveland Reporter Herald and Colorado Springs Gazette and participated in the Eddie Adams Workshop (XXII - Fuchsia) and Sports Shooter Academy (V), earning recognition from the faculties of both.
Brandon is constantly searching for new stories to tell and is confident that the power of photography will prevail in this uncertain time. To remain relevant in a digital world, Brandon is capable of complementing his photography with audio, video, writing and social media.
