My name is Jess Findlay. I'm a 19 year old nature photographer from Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Growing up with a passion for wildlife, particularly birds. Observing them eventually transitioned into a love for artistically documenting them. After photographing strictly animals for the first couple years I took up interest in capturing the landscape as well. This combination of photographic interests has helped me to develop my own distinctive style of capturing the animal with the inclusion of their domain. I have had my work published in Nature's Best, Audubon and Canadian Camera Magazines and was recently selected as "2011 International Youth Photographer of the Year" in the Nature's Best Windland Smith Rice Awards. I hope to one day host workshops around the world and help others pursue their passion.
