J. F. Garamendi is a freelance photographer from Madrid (Spain), now living in Rennes (France). He is a sport and lifestyle photographer, specialized in triathlon, cycling, trail and mountain biking, sports that he practices. This is not a coincidence, living the races as runner gives him a perspective and knowledge hard to find otherwise. He loves capturing feelings and emotions inside and outside races, emphasizing in the composition of images. His love for the images leads him to be a researcher in neuro-imaging, receiving his MsEng. in computer science (specialized in digital image processing) from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in 2003 and his PhD in Computer Science and Mathematical Modeling in 2011.
