I'm drawn to photography is because it captures 'that' moment in time that can never be repeated again. Whether that moment is humourous, political, beautiful, undesirable, or just 'is' for an unexplainable reason. What I find so compelling and at the same time challenging about photography is that each image evokes a different place in time and draws on different emotions and experiences for each viewer. No matter what title or description is attached to an image, it is there as a canvas for each viewer to navigate and interpret for themselves. I for one believe that image is truth. I also believe that truth is relative.
