I'm a beginner who got hooked like a lot of folks. I used Photoshop for work regularly for many years while producing graphics, advertising, and promotional materials. Along the way, I started using some of my own photos to make it more personal (rather than stock photography).
After taking a workshop trip recently, I'm more comfortable with the equipment and having even more fun. Can't wait to get back out there and discover more pictures.
