Wendy is a retired health services researcher who's twin passions for outdoor activity and the visual has led naturally to an interest in photography. Although she dabbled in slide photography briefly in the 80s, she borrowed her first digital DSLR in 2009. Four years later she is pursuing birds in Quebec and Northeast Florida, very active with her local camera club, volunteering her services as a portrait photographer at a senior's residence, and climbing the still-steep learning curves of post-processing. She finds the photographic community to be wonderfully generous and the time she devotes to the activity immensely rewarding. She has participated in several exhibitions in Montreal and one in Quebec's beautiful Eastern Townships, and her images have done well in local competitions.
