I, Movsumzade Khadija Khanim was born in Baku, Azerbaijan. I became interested in photography yet in my school times.
My first instructor in this field was my father's friend who was a professional photographer then. He taught me every detail on how to take photos and to use equipment chemicals. I had a little laboratory in my grandma's room, it was dark room with red light. I printed out photos in this room. I had enough equipment for taking photos and printing.
Starting in 2000 when my son was born, I became more seriously interested in photography and decided to develop a path for professional photography. This time I met with several professional photographers who spent 30-40 years of their lives in photography. I studied 3-4 months courses in order to develop my skills.
I never tired from learning, I am still in search of novelties in photography, meet with friends-photographers, I visit exhibitions often and try to get something new for myself. My photos are appreciated not only by photographers, but also by artists.
I am trying to experience myself in different genres of photography: portraits, conceptual, documentary, social photography, street photography.
My photos have been published in some magazines in Azerbaijan. I got certificates and diplomas from exhibitions and competitions in which I participated. My photos are published in the following links:
