"Photography my Passion" Through my photography I endeavor to create awareness and understanding of the mystery and beauty of life in the natural world. Rather than rely on traditional photographic techniques and viewpoints, I try to get the lens and film into the middle of the action, to search out the feeling as well as the form. I find that when I stay in one place, close to the ground with eyes and lens alert, my view of the world is transformed and my opportunity for seeing and thinking is expanded. My goal in photographing a subject is to capture both the nature of the subject and my personal point of view. I am not trying to solely document the scene, but rather I am trying to permanently record the particular aspect or quality of the subject that I find interesting.
