Kris has been a biologist all of his life, spending most of his youth watching David Attenborough documentaries whilst his friends watched Top of the Pops. In 2009 Kris picked up a camera to capture some of the amazing animals and locations that he has been fortunate enough to see. The combination of exploration, creativity, (occasional) danger and close encounters with animals and nature proved irresistible, and as a result nature photography continues to occupy the majority of Kris' free time - much to the annoyance of his long-suffering girlfriend. Herein you will find a small selection of occasions where the animal, location and photographer came together particularly well. Enjoy.
