Finally Leica

I've been wanting a Leica for a while. The brand just has such an epic reputation, and the pictures you see coming out of these camera's together with the stories the photographers have about the camera, made me want one for a while now.

I finally decided to go get one. I've got this nice guy living 10 mins away who makes a living selling camera's etc. He specializes in older camera's, Leica's, Hasselblad etc.

I bought my beloved Fuji X100 from him, and he invited me to come buy and look at the possibilities.

To be honest I made up my mind before going there. I checked his online store the day before, and saw this beautiful M6, for a nice price. The only thing I wasn't sure about was the lens. I wanted a 50mm, but the leica ones were pretty expensive. He had a beautiful Voigtländer 35mm F/1.4 laying around , I tried it out, and I liked it very much.

So here I am, the proud owner of a black Leica M6 with 35mm lens, loaded up with some B&W film.

I plan on developing the film myself later this week, and show you guys the results. For now here are some pics of my new camera along with a final picture of my current camera collection.
