Common Goldeneye rejected by his own kind , tur...

Springtime, a pond in a gardenpark in Gothenburg.

All the bidrs everywhere feels that "love is in the air " , which is natural for them. They fight and struggle to get a partner to mate and to breed the coming generation. But by any reason, som of them do not find a natural mate.

This little Common Goldeneye , seemed to be one of them , so it seems that he decided to take what was available.

Now , that happened to be a Common Eider , which is twice the size of himself.

However , that did not scare him off ! The sprigtime feelings are situated very deep in their mind.
