Cuitat Vella (Old City)

I just love Ciutat Vela (Old City) in Barcelona.
Yes, I live here and, yes, I may be biased, but I just love it.
The Gótic Quarter, the Born, all has a charm that's not common, IMHO, in any other part of the world.
It's just great to see how the old perfectly melts with the modern.
It's magic just to wander thru it's narrow -almost- pedestrian only streets.
During the day -summer and winter alike- they all burst with people -tourist and locals alike- window shopping and in the terraces of the myriad of bars that are in this area of "La Cuitat Comtal".
During the night, as soon as the sun goes down, people from all sorts of origins populate the terraces while others just wander around the place. It seems that the place never sleeps at all,
From the Cathedral to the shops, from the narrow streets to its terraces all has a charm that I haven't seen anywhere else... (It's not Paris, nor London, I know, but, be sure, it has charm in is it's own right)
