PHOTOGRAPHER In June 2010 I started with photography. I bought, my first digital SLR camera, the Canon EOS 350D. I was always interested in sport and event photography, so that was definitely something I would focus on. After one month, I became photographer at Evenimente in Cluj. With these simple means I started, and now I found my favourite subjects. I am always trying to improve myself and get good results so as to deliver the best quality. VIDEO EDITOR In September 04, 2009 I made my first video edit , from that point ’till now was a pretty insane roller coaster ride. My first video was made with my girlfriends semi-profesional camera. After four months, I made For Friends edit wich became the first Romanian VOD on Pinkbike (the biggest All rounder MountainBike site), now that was insane! That was a big step in my amateur career of video editing. After this step, I was called to film a local contest named Bistritz Bike Contest , I learned a lot from that experience, so I have to thank Virgil Poteaca who called me to film the event. After that event, came one of the biggest events in the Romanian Mountain Bike Calendar, named Rocks’n Roots. At this event I wanted to do something special, so I borought a camera from Alex Don (wich I also thank with this ocasion). After finishing the filming and editing part, I posted the video on the internet, and almost immediately I was approached by the Event manager of Rocks’n Roots contest. He wanted to make my video the official one of the contest. I was very happy about that and I accepted(I have to thank Garage Racing Team for apreciating my work, and for the support). Another big step was contributing at the On the Rocks contest film, wich was none the less the biggest and the most mediated biking event in our country. I always try new things, so that’s how I ended up making typography animation, and music clips, but that is for now, untill the weather becomes “rideable” again. That’s a little history of how I started, almost with no financial means, and I am very happy of were I stand at this moment.
