Linear Scanner

Published April 20th, 2012

This is not a story but somehow these images represent a time in my personal history with photography. I shot them at work in the period between my first phase (as student and semi-pro photographer) and the current return to amateur SRL photography. The employed equipment is a fast linear scanner that I use regularly in my work as an engineer. I find the result is very unusual with human subject so I've decided to post it here.

Taken with a high resolution linear scanner: the subject (me) is moving in front of the fixed camera. Every vertical line represents a different time (instead of different place as in regular imaging). No post processing.
