I grew up watching my father and his father before him photograph and paint the epic landscapes of the Western U.S. In the summer, I have smelled the great pine forest of the Northwest, I’ve tasted the sweetness of the high mountain streams, and have looked up into the sidereal heavens and view billions upon billions of stars of the black skies of the great southern deserts. And in all this, I have come to know for myself the Creator of it all. That, He, created it all, by the Power of His Word. So, what else could I do, but try and capture a portion of the light of the world and share it with others. That is what photography is to me…. and more. melandercl@gmail.com
