I was born in a small village in january 1978. Grew up alone with my mom and dad, although I have two older sisters (and now also a younger brother). My father is a trained photographer, art lover, and a huge collector of books. Several thousand books and lots of litographs surrounded me when I was a child.
My father often dragged me around to various artists, and that’s probably why I today have a predilection for portraying weird and unordinary existences. And actually my grandfather was a writer, so I guess that’s one of the reasons why I find writing on my blog so appealing. That, and because I just love sharing my passion, photography.
Today I work as a full time freelance photographer, founder of Photomeetup Copenhagen (an annual meetup with more than 500 participants) and co-owner of the press agency StarPress. I love studio work, although I also travel a lot shooting on location – not only in Denmark, but also around Europe.
Besides shooting photos for my commercial clients my big passion is sharing knowledge, on my blog as well as at my workshops. And to set the record straight, I’m not at all the world champion of photography, nor am I telling you what to do – I’m just telling you how I do it myself. The rest is up to you. :)
By the way, I’m married, with three kids and twins on their way. :)
