Have had a love of photography all my life.When I was young I was always in front of the camera, now I prefer to be behind the lens. My last camera was a Nikon E5400, which I had for about 10 years. In October of 2010 I found a website called Capture My Chicago. It has seriously changed everything...... From that point on, a casual hobby became an obsession. I now shoot in every spare moment, exploring the city I have called home all of my life....Chicago. I shoot all that I find beautiful....Architecture, Macro, Landscapes, and Urban shots.......I guess you can say I shoot "Life" ~Capturing life through a lens is something I have gained immeasurable peace from......I am a Cardiac Nurse and have worked in fast paced hospitals for the last 22 years, so when I am shooting all of the stress just falls away. Photography~~~ to me is so joyful and truly exhilarating......
