I like the outdoors and the “large” landscape especially if this is in a wild hilly place, I’m often frozen, wet and wind-swept, I’m often at a place where the light is poor, but I’m always patient. I stand in awe in Glencoe Valley and I relax and breathe in the Derbyshire Peak District because there is nothing better than sitting on a hill side a breeze playing on my face watching the play of the light on the land just waiting for the moment the pictures appears and the shutter is pressed.
It is my aim to get the shot right in camera, I prefer to spend time taking photo’s not in front of a computer post processing, most of my shots just get a quick tweak in lightroom to bring the most out of them.
A selection of my pictures are available on this web site I hope you enjoy them.
