Chris Toombes - capturing the wilder side of life.... Emigrated to Canada during the summer of 2006 currently based just outside of Belleville, Quinte, Ontario. Having spent my working life in the business world in a number of interesting roles and having spent the last 12 years working in the new media, web marketing and digital publishing worlds it was time for a big change of direction. Having suppressed my passion for photography due to endless work commitments it’s now time to stop the madness and retire from my hectic business life and develop my photographic creative streak. Moving to Canada has afforded me the opportunity to live out in rural Ontario and provides a huge choice of National Parks, open countryside and an abundance of wildlife to photograph. So I intend to take the next 12 months to develop my skills, travel across Ontario and walk the trails to photograph and document as much of the wildlife as I can in this beautiful part of the country.
