Great Whisping Sunset

Published January 12th, 2012

I'm not much for taking skyline or sunset pics, mostly because there are just so many of them, but the sunset the other day was just too cool not to capture, here are a few shots I took

Can't say as I really have any tips, other that I would scout a bit ahead of time, e.g. know where the sun rises and where the sun sets and have an idea of where you want to be for the shot ahead of time so that you don't miss it. The sunset here this time of year only really 'lasts' for about 20 minutes, so finding the right place to take the shot, might make you end up missing a shot all together.

Cool shot! I have a question, I actually want to try something with a sunset, and I know i'll have to wake up really early.
So I was wondering if you had any tips, I mean I don't want to wake up and completely fail :)
