Photography is my way of challenging myself to take a better look at the world around me. For me, the act of making the photo is the goal, with the photo being my souvineer. Thereafter I can spent time with my photos in post, browsing my collection or sharing. I am not interested in clicking the shutter for pay. Rather, I am interested in being behind the camera figuring out how to capture a little slice of beauty better than I did with my last photo. My photos here are souvineers of that effort, with each having its own level of technical and compositional success. But I can't recall any photo I didn't enjoy making. So, in that sense, every photo is a success, for me. Oh, about me. Well, I'm a long time software developer who makes good enough money to afford digital photography and still be able to live indoors.
