Photo taken at the Norfolk Botanical Garden in Norfolk, Virginia, a favorite location of mine to shoot in the summer.

I had to go over and take a closer look at this plant--Chinese Wisteria--as there was sign under it that said "Dangerous". Could it be poisonous, I wondered. Apparently the plant is a danger to the environment here because it's a non-native species and can spread like wildfire if not constantly monitored. The sign advised visitors to the garden to plant the native variety of Wisteria.

Anyway--the bees loved it! I noticed that this bee appeared to go about its collecting a different way--piercing the side of the flower--you can see a small hole in the top of the lower right flower where the bee also made a visit.
