I figured that it takes a lot of research to get this picture. You need to know the exact time for the tides, because you do not want to be one of those people who have been swept away by the sea. And the currents are powerful and treacherous.
You also need to observe the movement of the water, just in case there is some hidden hole on your approach towards the blowhole, that you might accidentally step into, which also results in a catastrophe. I could go on and on, but the overall result is rewarding with the feeling that you did it! You run into the waves, set up the tripod just as You have practiced and shoot a few frames just the way you have pre-imagined.
This is a composite of two images after all, one (longer shutter speed, and use of filters) for the background and another one (shorter shutter speed) for the blowhole itself just to show the movement of the water. These are hand blended together and I have also used some tonality adjustment as well to bring out the colours I had witnessed that magical night. I hope You enjoy!
