When we went to Mai Po Nature Reserve, they were closed for public except on weekend and public holiday. The tour is for 3 hours but we can't go in there due to this island is forbidden island and must have permit for 1 day stay then we can go in there for longer instead of joining the tour.
So when we walked back from the reserve, one of the fishing pond was full of white herons, there was gate for stopping public entry. We went in and the herons in their habitat, flying and catching fish and we have a great few hours here watching them.
This was my first attempt to take photo of flying birds and without proper long zoom len so this is the best of I can do. Please let me know your dislike so that I can improve my skills.
