Everyone does the "lonely tree" shot, right? I enjoyed making this one on the South African Highveld...though it really needs to be seen at higher resolution to take in the scale. This is a panorama of 4 images captured using a telephoto lens. The telephoto lens adds a compression factor which enhances the mood of the storm brewing behind the hill with the tree on.
