This shot was taken near Port Appin in Scotland, it’s not quite the shot I was after as the tide came in so quickly and covered the jetty a little too much. I was hoping to capture some foam and movement over the jetty, however the purpose if this shot was to try capture a landscape using my newly purchased Sekonic L-558 light meter, and gain more control over my exposures. When I reviewed the shot on the camera back I could see a clear improvement in the histogram and a fantastic spread of tones. There’s no cast in this shot, just an accurate record of the colours present last night’s sky. Anyone thinking of buying one of these meters then I cannot fault them, they’re great pieces of kit!! Thanks for looking.
