On my one-night visit to Cannon Beach, Oregon, I didn't find the colorful light I was, of course, hoping for. Instead, I was forced to accept an entirely different mood for my photographs. There was no fighting it, and I enjoyed the interaction with the surf, but it took a few years for me to come around completely and to be ready to share a "final" product.
