A few years ago, I chased an electrical storm to an overlook at the Grose Valley in the Blue Mountains. I spent nearly an hour photographing it, during which I learnt how best to photograph stationary stars. Indeed it was my first attempt. The cloud was illuminated from within, lighting up a few times a minute.
