what's left of the old saladillo neighborhood, partly demolished in the end of the '60s by the executive or central goverment to modernize the downtown of the city of Maracaibo, at the time created high rejection between people and still after 50 years creates a lot of controversy because the lost part of the historical memory with typical structures since the colonial like this ones with high windows and doors and colorful walls.

In these days my friend Alejandro Ferrer Ruíz told me about a song by the spanish band La Union about my city Maracaibo that I never heard before, for those whom understand spanish here's part of lyrics:
