Thank you all for your continued interest, comments and support of my photographs. It is very much appreciated.
This beautifully restored "Zulu" class fishing boat "Ocean Pearl" drifts gently in to Bosham quay. The owner and restorer had sailed her up the channel under mainsail, which he dropped as he turned in toward the quay. It was a perfectly judged manouver and he only used his engine in the final moments of coming alongside. The quay was fairly congested as several other classic boats had already arrived.
The Zulu Class fishing boats are the traditional fishing boats of the Shetland Isles and are designed to cope with the cold and frequently rough waters between the north of Scotland and Iceland.
