Just back from the Isle of Skye in Scotland. I can't even remember when was the last time I was outdoors for photography in Scotland. I can't stand the midges you see, they eat me alive. However, I have always wanted to capture a couple of images with the sun rising and settings at certain degrees and this is available only during the summer months.
Anyway, this is one of them and it was purely an experiment with exposure blending. It turned out better than I expected, considering the vast difference in dynamic range between sky and land.
I will be running a workshop on the Isle of Skye in March 2013; to be there with me, you just have to book your place. Earth's Beauty Tours
