There are two places in the world where my spirit effortlessly synchronizes with the rhythm of nature, which gives me a wonderful sense of relaxation and wholeness. One of these sacred places is the Serengeti region of Tanzania and Kenya, and the other is the chain of Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean that we call Hawaii. I just returned from 10 relaxing days on the Big Island with my family. We swam with turtles and colorful fish, cruised the waves beside bottlenose dolphins, explored volcanoes and discovered some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. After such a wonderful trip, it was sad to pack away my Locals and return to my Nikes and the hectic pace of the US mainland.
