From a morning where the interaction between the light and the atmosphere was continuously stunning, this photo has proved to be the most mesmerizing to me over time.
I hiked out across the frozen Mendenhall Lake and onto the glacier. It was a cold winter morning, but I barely noticed the temperature while I was caught up in the spectacle.
