The sky was clearer at night than I've ever seen it, the Milky Way full of colour and meteors flying everywhere you looked… who wouldn't take advantage of that?!
The process was simple -
1: Too much Whisky.
2: Get eaten alive by a varying array of bugs and other flying creatures.
3: Take lots of bad photos until you get one right.
4: Hope you haven't changed anything about your setup.
5: Snap away until you have something that vaguely resembles a Panorama…
6: Hope your boat doesn't sink coming home, because you need to process the pictures.
7: Stitch.
8: Relax.
For the first time in a very long time I feel really excited about a photograph I've taken, I've literally waited years to take pictures like this and I can confidently say it was WELL worth the wait!
