I would love to tell you where this location is, but I have no idea. Arrived in Salt Lake City area well after dark to visit the in-laws. My Uncle kindly offered to take me out to wherever I wanted to go the next morning. Up well before dawn, the conversation when something like this:

Uncle Brent: Where to?
Me: You tell me!
Uncle Brent: What do you want to shoot?
Me: Aspens
Uncle Brent: Well, like, there are a lot of Aspens in Utah. Can you narrow it down for me?
Me: Uhhhhh.... Aspens?

We drove around a lot.

Finally found this area where the ferns cover the forest floor, adorned in their fancy fall coat. It ended up being a nice morning, waiting for the Aspen bark to get that soft morning light glow and listening to the Elk trying to get laid.
