Three native trumpeter swans evoke trinity on the Mississippi River. This species, state listed as "endangered" in Missouri, can be found along the Mississippi at Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary in West Alton throughout much of the winter. Shot at the break of dawn from my camo kayak during a fantastic sunrise. The background is all prairie.
