The sky clouded over from the west as the sun went down behind the hill. We stood at the other side of the reservoir eyeing up the ridge of snowdon to see if it would get any light from the setting sun. The old boy standing next to us calmly lifting 4 trout out of the water over 20 minutes thought we must be bit simple when we told him we were waiting to see if the sky would get any light.
30 minutes later, we had rushed to the top of the opposite ridge to take this shot. The light show lasted only 2 or 3 minutes and then the gloom returned..
