This field is near where I live, finally a thing worth shooting in my backyard. Normally I have to travel to get good shots :-) for over one week I waited for this. I went there various times just to be dissapointed by either a blank sky or by too much wind to capture the flowers crisp. Then finally all was right.
I used a Polarizer to get the colors more saturated, especially the yellows and greens look so much better without polarized light, then a Lee 0.6 hard Grad + a Lee 0.6 soft grad. That wasn't enough. I also used bracketing to get a bit more playroom around the sun + I did focusstacking here. All is sharp from front to back. Don't ask about the postproc, with all the blending around the sun, the focusstacking and the luminance masking stuff this was quite some work. Way more than I normally do, but I wanted this to look perfect. was waiting too long for my friends here to show up again!
