This picture was taken during my holidays in South France. The Roman amfitheatre in Nîmes is (together with the theatre in Arles) one of the best preserved theatres. In these theatres, the gladiators fought their battles.
I had to be patient to take this picture, as I wanted as less people as possible on the photo. As there were a lot of tourists that day, I had to wait about half an hour. In the end, it paid off..
