I've never been much of a sun star shooter but from time to time I like to go after one and see how it turns out. While up at Mt. Rainier last summer I saw this little scene just as the sun poked its way above the treeline. In the end this was my favorite image from three days of shooting. Sure, no drama (or not even mountain for that matter), but for me the combo of elements more than compensated.
