A macro prospective of the Human eye.

The orange area (which varies in color) is the IRIS which is the donut shaped portion situated just in front of the lens. Here we can see the Constrictor MUSCLES which contract or dilate in order to let in more/less light pass into the lens.

PUPIL is the hole in the center of the Iris which allows light to pass into the lens
